The Central Institute of Indian Languages (CIIL), Mysuru, through its National Test Services-India (NTS-I), organized an orientation program for “Basics of Testing and Assessment in Cannada with reference to NEP 2020”, here on Monday.
The program was specially designed for the latest annual students of B.ed students from government university education of teachers (GCTE) here.
HN Geethambha, director and joint director of GCTE, emphasized the importance of evaluation and teaching in the learning process and called on students and teachers to accept reflective teaching procedures, emphasized the importance of evaluation and teaching in the learning process and urgently on students and teachers.
Pankaj dwivedi, Auxiliary Director, Ciil and Officer responsible for NTS-I, emphasized the importance of the NEP-2020, especially with reference to the importance of evaluation in contemporary classrooms.
He defended a balanced approach that integrates traditional and modern evaluation methods.
Dr. Dwivedi encouraged the participants to remain determined by lifelong learning and to ensure the continuing academic support of Ciil.
PR Dharmesh Fernandez, Deputy Director of CIIL, outlined the initiatives of the Institute in Language Education and Research, including teachers training, language documentation and multilingual resources development.
Shailendra Mohan, Director of Ciil, chaired Valictory of Relations, called on future educators to accept the vision of the Viksit Bharat by supporting their mother tongue -based teaching to support cognitive development and promote inclusive education.
The program was attended by more than 95 students and teachers.
