The bodies of two smaller Pakistani nationals were found on Saturday in an Indian territory near the international Indo-Pak boundary in the Rajasthan district of Jaisalmer, the police said.
According to the Hindustan Times report, the bodies were seen by locals approximately 11 kilometers from the border in the village of Gajasar. The authorities were warned, after which the police team and border security forces (BSF) were on the spot, said BSF ML Inspector Garg.
“The dead bodies of two minors were obtained from Jaisalmer Gajasar on Saturday noon. Some of them were recovered that both of them were Pakistani nationals,” HT Garg said.
According to the police, it seems to see the title and scope of decomposition, it seems that they both died about a week ago, the PTI press agency reported.
What does the initial probe suggest
The preliminary investigation suggested that both minors may have died as a result of dehydration, the police said. The bodies were sent to a morgue at Ramgarh Hospital on Postmort.
The documents obtained from the bodies revealed that the boy was born in 2008 and the girl in 2010. The Pakistan SIM card was also obtained from the bodies, said HT.
There is an investigation to determine how two minors managed to cross the heavily guarded international border and circumstances that led to their death. “We are also exploring the direction of their movement and any possible motif beyond the border crossing,” Garg said.
The General Police Inspector (Jodhpur Range) Vikash Kumar said that both bodies, including some technical equipment, were reported several suspicious and sensitive items, as stated by HT.
Kumar called the case “very sensitive” and said, “They were obtained by several suspicious and sensitive items, including some technical equipment. We are still investigating whether the couple has exceeded the international border or already present on Indian soil.”
India-Pakistani conflict
The worst clash between the nuclear armed neighbors in half a century broke out on May on May, while both sides traded with the air, drone and missile strikes, as well as artillery and small weapons fired along their shared boundaries.
The clash was launched by an attack in the district of Jammu and Kashmir 22 April, who killed 26 civilians in what India called the terrorist act organized by Pakistan. Islamabad denied the involvement.
India certainly promoted its military superiority over Pakistan in a short but intense conflict of last month, with its air strikes penetrated deep into Pakistan’s territory and giving accurate strikes into critical enemy infrastructure such as radar systems, units and air bases. The Indian Sindoor operation emphasized the military superiority of the new Delhi.
During the Sindoor Operation, India has shown that extensive operations against terror could be performed with surgical accuracy, even against a nuclear adversary without provoking significant escalation.
