Gujarat CM participates in toy collection for underprivileged children

Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel attended a mega toy drive organized under the ‘Let Kids Play, Let Kids Bloom’ campaign at Aarohi Twins Bungalow in Bopal-Ghuma, which falls under Ghatlodia Assembly constituency, on Sunday (May 31, 2026).
Inspired by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, the campaign aims to encourage children from well-to-do families to donate toys they no longer use to underprivileged children.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Patel said that toys and sports play an important role in the overall development of children and that this initiative will help inculcate values like empathy, compassion and sharing among the youth.
He said the campaign is not only about donating toys, but also about promoting social responsibility and strengthening humanitarian values among future generations.
The Chief Minister appealed to the citizens to actively participate in the event and appealed to the people to donate toys in large numbers which will bring joy to the economically weaker section children.
During the program, Mr. Patel also planted a sapling and highlighted the importance of environmental protection.
