French Open Day 9 Program: Aryna Sabalenkova and Naomi Osaka will face off in a blockbuster fight
Day nine of the 2026 French Open promises a busy schedule at Roland-Garros, with several fourth-round matches shaping the men’s and women’s quarter-final line-up. The center of attention will definitely be Court Philippe-Chatrier, where world number one Aryna Sabalenková will face four-time Grand Slam champion Naomi Osaka in the night part.
The blockbuster clash is the first women’s singles match to headline a night Roland Garros since 2023 and comes at a time when the women’s draw has been wide open. following the departures of Coco Gauff and four-time champion Iga Swiatek.
Action at Philippe-Chatrier begins with Flavio Cobolli taking on Zachary Svajda, followed by French hopeful Diane Parry taking on Maja Chwalinska. Later, fourth seed Felix Auger-Aliassime will try to reach his first Roland-Garros quarter-final when he takes on Alejandro Tabil of Chile.

Indian junior Arnav Paparkar has a tough schedule ahead of him. He will first face 15th seed Kuan-Shou Chen in the second round of the boys’ singles on Court 2 before returning to boys’ doubles action on Court 8 alongside Thailand’s Kunanan Pantaratorn.
Meanwhile, Maaya Rajeshwaran Revathi will continue her girls’ singles action on Court 11 against eighth seed Maria Makarova. The teenager has emerged as one of India’s most promising junior talents and will be aiming for another upset on the Paris clay.
