
In the middle of heavy rainfall and landslides on Sunday, the center of the meteorological department in India, in Shimle, released a red warning that predicted a heavy downpour in 10 districts of Himachal Pradesh, PTI reported.
According to the report, the services of the Shimla-Kalka railway line were suspended for hours until the remains and the trees on the trail were removed.
Due to the collision overnight, landslide near Koti on the National Highway Shimla-Kalka (NH-5), connecting Shimla and Chandigarh damaged some sections of the road. This resulted in a traffic jam two to three km long for hours.

Meanwhile, Solan Superintendent of Police Gaurav Singh said two-way traffic was restored near Mod Chakki on NH-5. It was damaged because of landslides.
The alternative route across the Yangesh road was also closed due to fallen remnants. Now there is cleaning. The police said that the operation from Kasauli towards Chandigarh would be diverted over Yangesha as soon as the road was cleaned.
Of the 12 districts, a “red” warning of 10 – Bilaspur, Hamirpur, Kangra, Mandi, Shimla, Solan, Sirmaur, Una, Kulla and Chamba – 29th June were issued.
Among the details of Met Office in Shimle warned against landslides, waterlogging, damage to vulnerable structures, traffic jams and disruption of basic services.
2023 Rains:
At the beginning of 2023, heavy rains in the state in the months and August caused massive damage, as the department of Met issued a “red warning”. This year, more than 550 people died and 2023 were considered one of the worst monsoon disasters in Himachal Pradesh.

5) With water, which has a wild form near Jhadmajri, there were reports that water up to four feet entering more than 20 houses in Shivariik Nagar, Jhadmajri in the Baddi industrial area.
6) All five overflowing gates of the Pandoh dam were opened on Sunday morning due to pre -tonfish in the Larja dam, which increased the water level in Beas.
7) The rain closed 129 roads in the state and disrupted 612 transformers. Maximum road damage was reported in the districts of Sirmiaur and Mandi, where 57 and 44 roads were blocked.

8) Met department also warned against a slight to high flood risk of flash floods in parts of 10 districts – Bilaspur, Chamba, Hamirpur, Kangra, Kulla, Mandi, Shimla, Solan, Sirmaur and Una – until Monday.
9) “Orange” warning of heavy to very heavy rains in isolated areas of Himachal Pradesh was issued a department of Met until July 5th.
