Main Minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday (June 29, 2025) handed over the letters 21,391 to the newly appointed police constations during the Sabhagar Babu program in Patna.
At the Assembly, Mr. Kumar said that since the new government was created on November 24, 2005, there has been a rule of law in the state and the state government has been constantly devoted to development work.
Bihar Cm, who attacked Rashtriya Janata gave (RJD), pointed out that everyone knows what the situation was in the previous government.
“People did not come out of the house after the evening and the situation in the law was poor. At the time of the creation of a new government in the state, the number of forces working in the Bihar police was very smaller. At that time the number of sanctions on the police was about 51,000, against that was only 42,481 police staff.” Said Kumar.
He also said: “From the beginning we said that the number of police forces in the state should increase and have been working since 2006. In 2013, we made 35% reservation for police forces. In 2022, the number of police forces increased to 1.10 Lakh and increased by 2.29 lakh.”
He expressed happiness over the constant efforts of police work and claimed that police recruitment was quickly done in Bihar to occupy all the free space.
“I am glad that the work of direct recruitment of 21,391 constraints has been completed, which is given letters today. After today’s recruitment, the number of women in the Bihar police has now increased to about 36,000, which is more than any state in the country.
CM, accompanied by both representatives of the main ministers South Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha, reported that the state government is now working on recruitment of 42 609 constables. A written exam for a charge on contributions from 19838 will be held next month.
During his address, he also instructed the general director of Bihar (DGP) Vinay Kumar that police forces should not have a lack of resources. Mr. Kumar also asked new police officers not to participate in anyone who did bad things and it is strictly with those who commit crime.
DGP filed an oath of police obligation and discipline to the newly appointed Commissioner for Police and Development of Pratyaya Amrit managed the oath of the ban. A short film based on working methods and the success of the Bihar police was also tested.
