The Chief Minister of Pinaraya Vijayan strongly defended the Minister for General Education by V. Sivankutty’s decision to come out of the event Raj Bhavan 19 June to protest the manifestation of the image of saffron held by Bharat Mat.
The Minister did nothing wrong and intended to respect the governor, Mr. Vijayan said in a heavily created letter to Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Alelekar.
Mr. Sivankutty only replied to how the Minister should see the flag and the symbol that the Constitution is not ordered for an official function. His actions are suitable for the minister who composed an oath according to the Constitution, said Mr. Vijayan.
Raj Bhavana’s attitude
The Minister was published during the distribution of the prize related to the State Scouts Bharat and the guides of Rajya Puraskar. Raj Bhavan described the Minister against the Minister’s lawsuit as “gross violation of the protocol and a serious insult to the Governor’s Office”.
In his letter to Governor, the main minister added that only national symbols and flag ordered by the Constitution should be displayed on official positions in Raj Bhavan.
At the beginning of June, Minister of Agriculture P. Praad jumped the celebrations of the World Environment Day in Raj Bhavan after the Bharat Math motif was displayed. Recently, the State Cabinet has also pointed out Governor’s attention to protocols regulating the ceremonial and officials in Raj Bhavan.
