The Israeli army announced on Saturday that it had found a rocket released from Yemen to Israeli territory.
In the contribution on the Social Media Platform X, Israeli defensive forces said: “Sirens sounded in southern Israel after a fire project from Yemen.”
The racket was “most likely successfully captured,” Reuters reported and quoted the Israeli army.
The army did not find out who started the missile.
After the tension of Israel-Gaza escaped from October 2023, there were missiles in the region between Israel and the Iranian group supported by Houthi, which controls most of Yemen, including a focus on the Red Sea ships that cause global trade disruption.
Previously, the Houth Rebels in Yemen issued a record of Houthi Military spokesman Brig Gen Yahya Saree and stated that they would rebel and attack the military assets of the United States in the Red Sea if the US decides to support Israel in the middle of its tension with Iran, etc.
“In the case of American involvement in attack and aggression against Iran with the Israeli enemy, the armed forces will focus on its ships and warships in the Red Sea,” Saree quoted.
The statement was issued the day before the US attacked three nuclear facilities in Iran, including Natanze, Esfahan and Fordow, after several speculations on whether US President Donald Trump would expand direct support to Israel or not.
Israel’s US support comes after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that Tel Aviv had hit “at the core of the Iranian nuclear enrichment program”. He warned the Israeli operation against Iran to “continue as many days as it lasts”.
After the subsequent attacks, Iran and Israel confirmed the ceasefire of June 24 and ended the military event against each other. The statement came several hours after Trump announced to Truth Social that the ceasefire threatened.
