
Dharwad-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express met on Friday with the problem of “hot axles” near Davangere, which forced a short end of service in Davangere itself. Subsequently, the passengers were transported to Bengalur on two other trains.
According to railway offices, the staff on board the railway noticed “hot axles” (a remedy that was due to a friction near Harihar near Amaravati Colony near Harihar. Then the train was stopped at Davangere.
Overall, Vande Bharat Express 502 passengers and all were demonstrated at Davangere and were taken to Bengalur Jan Shatabdi Express and Jodhpur Express.
The railway authorities stated that passengers were provided with food and water at the ARSIKERA railway station. For those who bought a Vande Bharat ticket via the counter, the balance of the difference in the train fare was returned. For those who bought e-this-tickets, the arrangements are provided for a refund, they said.
