The collector of the district of Eluru K. Vetriselvi ordered that all children aged five years or more, currently participating in Anganwadi centers, must be entered in government schools without failure. She stressed that CDPOS (officers of the project for the development of children) and Meos (mandala education officers) should work in close coordination to ensure that this transition is effectively implemented.
The collector conducted a ZOOM conference with school heads, officials of the Ministry of Education and ICD officials from the whole district, especially with a focus on school with zero enrollment.
During the meeting, the collector ordered zero school heads to take active steps to register eligible children Anganwadi in their relevant government schools. It emphasized the importance of the task prison special attention to improving the degree of registration. In cases where the mandal and CDPOS education officers claim that no children are present in housing, they asked them for the claim to verify and submit a formal report that confirms it.
