
Women’s Premier League (WPL) Page Warriorz said goodbye to head coach Jon Lewis after a three -year association that began the first season of the tournament. Warriorz ended last season on the bottom of the ranking.
Lewis led UP Warriorz to Play -off WPL in the inauguration season, where the Mumbai Indians champion were eventually defeated. In his second season, they finished fourth on the table and under his leadership Warriorz won a total of nine matches out of 25.

The UPS franchise announced a decision on its social media platforms with a special message to Lewis. Warriroz said that Lewis has believed in the team from the first day and will always be part of the family.

In addition to his work with Warriors, Lewis has also been the head coach of the English women’s team since November 2022. He recently gave up the role of this year. Charlotte Edwards took over from Lewis as a coach of the English women’s team.
Lewis played a regional cricket for Gloucestershire, Surrey and Sussex. During his international career representing England, Lewis played a total of one test, 13 ODI and two T20i.
