BJP State President from Vijayendra
President BJP of the President Vijayendra said that the central management would soon announce the names of new presidents for different countries, including Karnatak.
On Thursday, he spoke to Perspersons in Bengalur and Mr. Vijayendra denied speculation that it was not possible to complete the President for the Karnatak Unit for internal tussle and that the central management had postponed this process. “Very soon the name of the President will be announced,” he said.
Mr. Vijayendra pointed out that the announcement had already been made in 14 countries, stating that the appointment of presidents for the next six to seven states, including Karnataka, would be completed very soon. After the completion of this process, the party’s national president would be named, he added.
Vijayendra indicated that he was convinced that he would be for another term of office, said, “I worked effectively in building a party party in the last and a half years. Our workers and leaders also feel the same.”
He disagreed with the leader of the veteran DV Sadanand Gowdy that the state of the state unit BJP was as a proverbial “coals covered under ashes”. He said it was natural to have minor differences and would meet Mr. Gowda to discuss his statement on Friday.
