
In a sad incident, a thirty -year -old man was reportedly defeated by his son -in -law after being accused of killing his wife in the Jharkhand district, PTI quoted a police official, as he said on Thursday.
According to the details, the incident was late on Wednesday in the village of Lukaiya under the area of the Mufasil Police Station when the husband and wife joined the quarrel above the family dispute and the man stabbed her to death, the officer said.
The deceased were identified as Chotelal Hansd and his 25 -year -old wife Meenu Murmu. Jeetwahan Oraon, police officer Sadar Sub-Divisional (SDPO), said Hansda got married with Meena about eight years ago.
Both were inhabitants of the same area of the Giridih police station, their relationship was allegedly tense, he added.
“Meena recently stayed in her parents’ house. Her husband visited the home of her sister -in -law to bring her back. They had a quarrel late on Wednesday evening during the problem, and the spiral said he stabbed his wife to death,” Oraon PTI said.
Hansda tried to escape from the place, but failed when he was caught by Meenini family members and local villagers. “He was beaten to death,” SDPO said.
Police renewed both bodies and sent them to postmort tests, adding that an investigation is underway.
