On Wednesday evening eighteen -year -old youth disappeared after being swept through strong waves on the beach Ezhara Papplyly Beach in Kannura. The incident occurred when a group of four young people spent time on the beach, two of which were caught in the harsh sea.
While one of them managed to escape, Farhan Rahoof (18), son of Rahoof, resident Kayalode, remains missing.
Police, fire and rescue service and revenue officials threw themselves into the place and started a joint search operation.
