Six wins, fleeting kiss: Virat Kohli-Anushka moments go viral after RCB's title win

Virat Kohli showcased his style and talent in the IPL 2026 final with a brilliant six. But it was his fleeting kiss to Anushka Sharma that sent fans into a frenzy as RCB won their second IPL title on the trot, beating Gujarat Titans by five wickets.

Kohli was the star of the show for RCB in the final on Sunday, May 31, as were they eventually chasing the target of 156 with ease. The star batter set the tone early on alongside Venkatesh Iyer with a knock of 62 off just 27 balls. Kohli was in the mood and soon dismantled Kagiso Rabada. Kohli reached his fifty in just 25 balls, the fastest half-century of his IPL career.

Even as wickets fell and Gujarat thought they were going into the game with Rashid Khan’s spell, Kohli anchored the chase. In the 18th over, Kohli hit a boundary and then sealed the game with a six as the RCB players ran onto the field to celebrate the win.

As the celebrations continued, Kohli decided to turn to the stands and blow a quick kiss towards his wife Anushka.

WHAT DID KOHLI SAY AFTER THE GAME?

Kohli said his message to the RCB camp was that the pressure was not the same as last year and that there was confidence in their ability.

“Well, I told a few guys that it’s not as much pressure as it was last year. We knew the ability we have in the group. We got to the top of the table. There’s a reason why we got here first. And we just said one thing: if we stick to our cricket, if we execute our plans, we’re the best team in the competition,” Kohli said.

The win made RCB the third team to win back-to-back IPL titles.
