The Directorate for the Development of Women and Children suspended the chairman of the children of children from the district of N. Rajeev in connection with the alleged attempt to sabotage the protection of children from sexual offenses (POCSO), which concerns a lawyer.
The collector of the district collector Pathanamthitta S. Prem Krishhnan, who was in charge of the investigation of this matter, presented a report in this respect after seeking an explanation from the District Child Care Committee (CWC) and Chief of the District Police.
The reports suggest that Mr. Rajeev reportedly made an appointment for the perpetrators to see the surviving rape in the CWC office. The person is also accused of detecting the identity of the survivor in another case
The dispute that is based on the report submitted by the Chief of the District Police, which indicated efforts in the Office of the District Child Care Committee to settle the case with silence. Konni Deputy Police Director TK Rajappan and a circular inspector and official of the house of P. Sreejith were suspended by the police chief.
Meanwhile, CWC chairman turned to the main minister and accused the police of shielding higher officers while sacrificing junior staff.
The case concerned alleged sexual abuse of a sixteen -year -old girl by one Noushad Thotathil, a lawyer with the help of a relative surviving. Despite the father of the girl, he filed a complaint in August last year, the case was only registered three and a half months later.
