Main Minister A. Revanth Reddy ordered officials of the Ministry of Education to take steps to further strengthen the educational system in the state.
He ordered other collectors to visit state schools at least twice a week to see the facilities there. On Wednesday, the main minister organized a meeting with higher officials of the Ministry.
Officials reported the main minister that more than 48,000 students from private educational institutions joined government schools in this academic year. Mr. Revant Reddy wanted officials to take over the construction of other classrooms in accordance with the increased strength of students, in addition to taking steps to provide adequate facilities for children with special needs.
Steps should also be taken to ensure equipment for cooking noon meals in schools. In this context, he preferred the installation of solar kitchens that released women from the hardship of cooking on gas stoves or relied on wood.
The main minister asked officials about a significant change in the number of students undergoing the tenth standard and persons who join medium level courses. It is necessary to take steps to ensure that all the tenth qualified students joined to medium advanced education.
Officials were ordered to introduce skills development courses for students who have completed secondary education to be sure of the opportunities for living.
