Two para-taekwondo athletes from Warangal, E. Goutham Yadav and K. Shiva were selected to represent India at 10.
National selection exams took place at Lovely Professional University in Pandjab 22 and 23 June, with five athletes from Telangana a strong performance. Yadav (category P51) and Shiva (category P52) secured first place in their categories. M. Krishhnaveni and jacket Baih, both in the P70 category, were placed second and third, while MD. Abdul secured third place in the P52 category.
The Federation announced that athletes will be selected for the Indian camp to secure the first, second and third positions. President of the Association of Teekwondo Telengan Para NS Dileep expressed sincere congratulations to selected athletes. S. Babu, President of the Association of the Sports Association Telangana Para, also expanded warm wishes to the duo.
