Vaibhav Sooryavanshi Enjoys IPL 2026 Final With Jay Shah Sporting New Hairstyle

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi’s season may have ended with Rajasthan Royals losing to Gujarat Titans in Qualifier 2, but the young prodigy was spotted in Ahmedabad to enjoy the final of IPL 2026. Sooryavanshi was spotted alongside ICC Chairman Jay Shah and other dignitaries in the stands during the RCB vs GT clash at the Narendra Modi Stadium.

Fans were also quick to notice that the RR opener sported a new hairstyle for the occasion. Sooryavanshi swapped his long hair for a faded look as he was seen chatting with the ICC chairman in the stands.

WHY IS SOORYAVANSHI IN IPL 2026 FINAL?

Sooryavanshi came to Ahmedabad for the finale to collect a number of awards. He became the youngest Orange Cap winner in the history of the tournament, scoring 776 runs from 16 matches.

He faced some competition from Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan, but both men failed against RCB. With the target for RCB being 156, the mathematical chance for Kohli to catch it was also closed.

Apart from that, Sooryavanshi also gets the award for the highest number of sixes in a season as he hit 72 highs during the season.

He is also in contention for the season’s most valuable player as he currently has 436.5 points, but faces competition from Kagiso Rabada.

He could also end up with emerging player of the year this season after a sensational campaign.

After the end of the IPL season, Sooryavanshi will report for duty for India Awho will travel to Sri Lanka for a tri-series starting on June 6 and lasting until the 19th.
