
Main Minister Omar Abdullah said he has no objections if the legislative assembly must be dissolved and after restoration of statehood to Jamm and Kashmir, new elections must be made.
“I read in the newspaper that statehood will be restored, but the elections to the assembly would have to take place again. Let them do it, who stopped them,” Abdullah told reporters in Gulmarg, a well -known tourist place 52 kilometers from Srinagar.
Abdullah, which was the first Minister of the Union of Jamm and Kashmir in October last year, said that statehood is the right of people from Jamm and Kashmir.

The former status of Jammu and Kashmir was reorganized in the Union of Jammu and Kashmir Union and Ladakh, after the abolition of Article 370 in August 2019. Prime Minister Narendra Modi-Led promised the return of Jamm and Kashmir.

“If the MLA is threatened by the dissolution of the Assembly to restore statehood, do it. On the day the state is re -introduced, the next day we will go to the governor and recommend dissolving the assembly. Do not try to scare us … State is our right and give it).
Statehood is not for any MLA or government. This statehood is for people Jammu and Kashmir.
