Andhra Pradesh Union of Working Journalists (APUWJ) waged war against false social media reports by organizing a seminar on “artificial intelligence-social media findings” on Tuesday as part of his 36.
The seminars were chaired by APUWJ President IV IV Subba Rao. The main speakers provided awareness of artificial intelligence, social media and approach to solving false stories.
The Chairman of the Academy of Tellangana State Press K. Sreenivas Reddy said that the AP will be at the forefront of IT and AI and journalists should stop spreading false propaganda and writing real stories. He said fake stories will leave democracy in a very unfortunate state.
“As journalists, we have a responsibility to condemn false intelligence stories coming through social media. We should focus on stories that are useful to society by absorbing the emerging knowledge and focus of our intellectual power,” he added.
AP Press Academy Alapati Suresh said that journalists should emphasize that there is nothing greater than the human brain and journalists should only spread real stories. Satyendra Narayan Sinha, former president of the Indian journalist Union (IJU), also spoke at the seminar.
