The 10 -day Aani Thirmanjanamam festival began to raise the flag in the Sri Sabanayagar temple, known as Sri Natarajar Temple in Chidambarama, in the middle of singing anthem and special borrowing.
The flag was raised after a special loan chairman of Lord Natarajar and the goddess Sivagami Sundari and the flag mast were made. Hundreds of devotees witnessed rituals held at 7 am in the morning
Among the highlights of the festival are the car procession of July 1 and Aani Thiranjanamam Festival on July 2. It is one of two important annual ten -day festivals, where Lord Nataraja is eliminated around four cars of cars in the temple city, the second is Arudra Darshan.
