
Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has launched an extensive sticker campaign in the ongoing comprehensive survey of planned households (SC) throughout the city.
This initiative focused on the collection of scientific data on 101 SC communities is currently taking place in all eight BBMP zones and is carefully monitored by the Zonal Commissioners and Commissioners.
Enumerators’ teams attend households and attach stickers at the entrances to confirm the survey. Since now, the BBMP included 1.84 Lakh SC households and more than 32 Lakh general households and identified 6.72 Lakh SC individuals.
“The next BBMP campaign has deployed volunteer teams that include students from the SAC and NCC to distribute stickers. These stickers contain QR codes that allow people who have not yet participated, and to complete online.
The deadline for completing the survey was extended until June 30, 2025. BBMP called on all the remaining households to cooperate to ensure 100% of the survey coverage.
