The introduction that the success and survival of the company depends entirely on its customers, the CEO of Gulbarga Electricity Supply Company (Gescom) Ravindra Kalingannavar said that customers are the driving force of the company’s income growth. “Therefore, it is our duty to serve them with maximum efficiency and without hesitation, as we exist,” he added.
He recently addressed officials at the workshop together organized by Karnataka Regulators Commission (KERC) and (Gescom).
Kralingannavar emphasized the importance of proactive compensation and stated that when a customer expresses complaints, it is the duty of officials to record and resolve the complaint. “We have to go to the customer rather than wait for us to approach us,” he added.
An officer who emphasized the quality, affordable and accessible services warned officials of strict action if the service was delayed.
KERC member (legal) HK Jagadish said the workshop should lead to introspection and improving fuel. “We must understand our duties and commit to the disciplined service,” he added.
The workshop represented three technical sessions. In the first meeting, the Technical Director of KERC Srinivasappa elaborated according to the rules and performance standards for electricity supply.
In the second KERC meeting, a legal advisor, if Bidari discussed the rules of KERC (consumers’ rights, performance and related matters) and the third session, Kerc Electricity Ombudsman N. Krishnaiah explained that KERC (CGRF and Ombudsman) 2004.
The event was attended by GESCOM officials, including NRM Technical Director Nagarajan, Chief Engineer (Operation) Mohammed Farooq Kittur, Santosh Hibare, Chief Engineer (Kalaburagi Zone), Venkatesh Alvi, Chief Engineer Bellary Teja Nayak.
