SIR enumeration phase begins in Odisha, Mizoram, Sikkim and Manipur, says EC | Today’s news

The Election Commission on Sunday announced the commencement of the enumeration phase of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral rolls in Odisha, Mizoram, Sikkim and Manipur.

The survey body launched the third phase of the SIR exercise in 16 states and three union territories on May 14 on an alternate basis. As part of the enumeration process that began on Saturday, Booth Level Officers (BLOs) will conduct door-to-door visits to distribute, collect and verify the enumeration forms.

Voters can submit their filled forms either through BLO or online facility.
