The Maoists killed two villagers in the district of Chhattisgarh’s Bijapor, the police said on Sunday (June 22, 2025).
The police said in a statement that she had received information that two innocent villagers were brutally murdered by the Maoists in Sendrabor and Ampur Villages under the Pamamed Police Station area.
The police verified this information, said the release without setting any reason for the murder and when there was a crime.
The incident comes before visiting the Minister of the Interior of the Union Amit Shah in Chhattisgarh.
On Sunday afternoon, Mr. Shah gets on Raipur for a two -day visit to the state.
On June 17, there were three villagers, including a thirteen -year -old boy, strangled by the Maoists using a rope in their native village of Peddakorm Bijapor in the Bijapor district.
Two of the three deceased were relatives of the older Maoist cadre Dinesh Modiyam, who surrendered in March this year before the police, he said earlier.
