The official comments of Pakistan arrived days after his Army boss Asim Munir visited President Donald Trump, who hosted lunch for him.
The Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, who also holds the Ministry of External Affairs, published an official statement in Pakistan in the X.

“Pakistan condemns American attacks on Iranian nuclear devices that follow a series of Israel attacks. We are seriously concerned about the possible escalating tension in the region.
We again repeat that these attacks violate all standards of international law and that Iran has all the legitimate right to defend itself from the UN Charter.
The unprecedented escalation of tension and violence, due to the ongoing aggression against Iran, is deeply disturbing. Any further escalation of tension will have seriously harmful consequences for and outside the region.
We emphasize the necessary need to respect civilian lives and properties and immediately end the conflict. All parties must comply with international law, in particular international humanitarian law.
Damage to dialogue, diplomacy, in accordance with the principles and purposes of the UN Charter remains the only viable way to solve the crisis in the region. ”
Munir meets Trump:
In the past on Wednesday, Pakistani army main field marshal Asim Munir was hosted by President Donald Trump in the White House for lunch. The lunch meeting was the first time the US President hosted the head of the Pakistani army.
