The leaders of Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) condemned the “illegal” arrest of the MLA party from Huzurabad P. Kaushik Reddy on arrival from overseas at Shamshabad on Saturday and Saturday called it by the autocratic act of Chief Minister A. Revantha Reddy.
In his statement, working Party Party KT Rama Rao claimed that the main minister harassed Mr. Kaushik Reddy with false cases, because the latter questioned the inconsistencies of the main minister, corruption of ministers and excesses of congress leaders. Mr. Kushik Reddy has been slapped by illegal cases in the last 18 months.
However, these actions would not discourage the determination of BRS leaders to reveal the failure of the Congress Government and its involvement in corruption. The leader BRS T. Harish Rao claimed that the Congress Government focused only on the political victimization of the BRS leaders instead of paying attention to the promise. Despite such illegal arrests and victimization, BRS leaders would continue to question the failure of the Congress Government.
Party leader S. Madhusudan Chary, B. Vinod Kumar, K. Eshwar and several others also condemned the arrest of Mr. Kaushik Reddy.
