Youth belonging to the second and third generation of families who benefit from land reforms of 70 years and other social security systems that now accept the ideology of Hindutva are among the factors responsible for religious polarization of communities in the coastal region, especially in Dakshina Kannada, according to the legislature who explored this matter and examined this problem.
In order to face politics Hindutvy, Muslim youth also polarized the community to religious identity and India Social Democratic Party (SDPI) sowed seeds of “municipal policy” by raising funds, actively mobilized and organized youth, the legislature said.
Interim report
The KPCC Committee, who visited the Dakshina Kannada district and met people from all areas of life – from politicians to ordinary citizens – submitted his interim report to the chairman of the party and vice -chairman of the Chief Minister of DK Shivakumar on Thursday.

BJP won seven of the eight components of the assembly in the Canada district in the 2023 elections. BJP also won the seats of Dakshii Kannada and Udupi-chikkagaru Lok Sabaha.
A member who noticed a strong presence of religious identities among people said, “It is difficult to find any prevalence of secular ideas in the region.”
Mobilization methods
