
Inter Milan created a dramatic late return that defeated Japanese Urawa Red Diamonds 2-1 at the FIFA World Championship in the United States, while Borussia Dortmund survived the fear of getting around Mamelodi Sundowns 4-3 in a pulsating competition earlier on the day.
Ryoma Watanabe Urawa put a surprising lead in the first half against the star with the Internet side. The Japanese striker finished a quick counterattack at the 23rd minute and punished Inter for their lack of sharpness in front of the goal, although the possession was dominated.
Inter, managed by Cristian Chiva, attracted his opener against Monterrey and desperately needed the result to stay in the tournament. Nicola Zalewski was alive on the left side and created several chances, but the series of the series and tried to break the decisive defense of Urawa.
In the end, their pressure paid off. Lautaro Martinez equalized the score with a stunning blow from the outside of the box in the 78th minute and the replacement Valentin Carboni grabbed the winner for seven minutes from time to seal the first victory of Chiva as Inter Boss.
