Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT) IIIT in Nuzvid celebrated the 11th International Yoga Day by showing yoga on the Institute lawn on Saturday.
Director of Nuzvid IIit S. Amarendra Kumar, who practiced yoga together with the faculty and students, asked everyone to make “yogasany” every day.
17. Battalion Andhra NCC, Vijayawada, performed yoga with the slogan “Yoga for one country, one health”, in Dr. Br Ambedkar Smithi Maidan in Vijayawada. Almost 1200 cadets of various institutes, NCC officers, instructors performed various yogis in Smith Maidan, said commanding officer, col. GC Pandey.
Officers South Central Railway (SCR), Vijayawada Division, celebrated International Yoga Day and practiced yogasans in a railway functional hall. Other divisional railway manager PE Edwin, Srinivas Rao Konda, divisional staff of Rasana Devi and other officers who were merging yoga, yoga teaching
International Yoga Day was celebrated at more than 20 locations in the SCR Vijayawada division, which participated in many railway staff, SCR officials said.
