
Police Pandjab said on Saturday that the terrorist module Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) arrested. The BKI terrorist module was operated by a British Hamdler, who was a close associate of a terrorist based in Pakistan named Hardinder Singh Rana.
Police in Panjab also arrested a local worker named onkar Singh alias Nawab, resident of the village of Jalalusma in the Amritsar district.
“In the main breakthrough of the AMRITSAR Commissiorate police, the Babbbar Khalsa International (BKI) operated by the British handler Dharam Singh @ Dharma Sandhu, a close collaborator of a hard-based terrorist, and one local worker,” said DGP Punjab Police Gaurav Yadav in Post-X.
Police renewed six sophisticated pistols, our 9 mm Glock pistol and two 4.30 pistols from the accused, he said.
“Firms have been registered and further investigations are underway to reveal a wider network,” police DGP said in Post X.
“The Pandjab police remains determined to neutralize terrorist threats and maintain peace in the state,” he added.
Dharam Singh, who was the operator of this BKI terrorist module, was a close associate of a terrorist in Pakistan Hardinder Singh aka Rinda, the police said.
Weapons supplied through drones intended for terrorist activities
Police Commissioner Amritsar Gurpreet Singh Bhullar, who shared the details of the operation, said the arrest was carried out after the cops received accurate news inputs and coordinated each other to get to the accused.
“During the interrogation, the accused revealed that weapons supplied through drones were intended for disturbing activities,” Yadav said.
The preliminary investigation revealed that Onkar Singh was part of the fret activated by a foreign operator to destabilize the condition.
Bhullar also revealed that confiscated weapons were to be divided among local terrorist clothing workers to perform targeted killing and terrorist activities in the panda.
“Weapons were to be distributed among local workers to carry out targeted murders and pandjab terrorist activities. We are working to uncover the entire network and its international links,” Bhullar said.
In a separate operation Amritsar rural police arrested an international ring of arms smuggling with Gurpreet Singh aka Gopa based in Italy. Four workers and nine illegal weapons were arrested during the raid led by news.
