Sanjay Manjrekar made a relatively dividing call and continued his back Rishabh Pant as the best goalkeeper in the test cricket, even over Mrs. Dhoni, for his century against England in Leeds on Saturday, June 21.
The former cricket, as he asked about his views on the best Indian Groveman in the longest format, pointed out sharp contrast in both of their performances from home.
ENG vs Indian, 1. Test day 2: Update
“Again, I am a believer where you got your hundreds, and I am a big species, I always look at hundreds. Okay where we have? He has hundreds in England. He has 100 in South Africa. He has a few hundred in Australia,” Manjrekar said at Jiohotstar.
When playing tests outside home, Dhoni has a total of 2496 runs in 48 matches on average 32.84 with 18 fifty and only one century in Pakistan. Meanwhile, Rishabh Pant has already hit 1976 runs in 30 games playing with an average of 39.52, with six fifties and five centuries.
The numbers clearly show that the pants were better, at least when it comes to scoring big runs, and is already looking at the journey to break Dhoni’s record from home. Manjrekar expects Dhoni’s best knocking to come in slightly less demanding conditions.
“So if you look at hundreds of MS ‘, with all his fans, his centuries would not be so much in these countries, where the batting is a little more demanding, like batting on the Indian playground.
After the end of the first Indian shift, Manjrekar again emphasized how Pant was really the best Indian mother. He even mentioned how the pants got several times in the 1990s. Brack dough was rejected in the test cricket seven times in the 1990s.
“By far, the largest Indian tested dough testing testing. I was worried when he was at the age of 90. He could end up getting 80 of his career. He is simply incredible that he is so much 90. But it’s a fresh air breath,” he added.
Manjrekar also appreciated the crowds in England, who want a good competing cricket. Although they support their team, they are also appreciated by good performances, whether it’s from their team or opponents.
“When he got out and raised a bat, there were a lot of English supporters who stood up and applauded on these shifts. This is what we love about England – these boys come to watch a good cricket. They want their team to win, but you can see real recognition when they see the perfection of opposition,” he concluded.
Meanwhile, Pant’s shifts from 134 ensured India to build a total of 471 runs on board the first shift. He will now focus as a vice -chairman where he will look like playing his role and support the Indian captain to ensure that the bowling unit can soon wrap English dough.
