The detailed report of the project (DPR) for the development of Kadambrayar in Ernacula as an attractive tourist destination has proposed multiple measures to improve infrastructure.
The development of kayak routes along the designated sections of the Kadambrayar River is one of the proposals to support ecotourism and attracting adventure seekers. This requires safety equipment and trained lifeguards for all participants, docking stations and kiosko rentals for kayaks and pedal boats and floating platforms and river pontoons for water research. DPR says events such as weekend marathons of the Greek or kayak challenges can also be presented.
Improved infrastructure was designed in nature integrated equipment, health and wellness, food and refreshments, cultural and leisure activities, hygiene, children and digital security services. It was also designed in the open air with older units, which is friendly to the elderly, a jogging track with the surface and marking of yoga or meditation zones. A mini amphitheater, public artistic wall paintings and sculptural zones and points for watching birds and ecological track were also designed.
Deepening of the sidewalk
It was also recommended to expand the existing 5 -meter -meter sidewalk with durable tiles and an increase of 2 feet to prevent infestation and improvement of seasonal flood resistance. The designs included long benches of the boards for monitoring unpeeled field, tea or snack as a scenic stop, renovation of the existing hotel DTPC and beer salon.
The DPR assumes a local economy and a community that benefits from the proposed development. It provides support for the local economy through tourism, employment/self -employment for youth and women, revenue from food stalls, boat rides, cafes and events and promotion of local culture and crafts as obvious benefits.
Environmental protection measures such as street lighting of solar -powered street lighting, rain garden and bioswales, native tree planting campaign, overall plastics with one use and community controlled cleaning units have also been proposed.
