Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday (June 20, 2025) claimed that the Sindoor operation was proof that the new India was assertive, decisive and would no longer be the victim of terrorism.
He addressed Jawans in Barakhana organized on the eve of International Yoga Day 2025 at the northern command of the army in Udhampur.
Mr. Singh said, “The Sindoor operation has sent a strong news to terrorists and their patrons that the new India is assertive, decisive and will no longer be the victim of terrorism, but responds with strength and strategy.”
The Minister of Defense praised the accuracy, coordination and courage of the armed forces and intelligence agencies in the destruction of terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan occupied cashmere and claimed that the Indian change of policy towards terrorism was the result of this unrivaled outflow and initiation. Sindoor operation was not just a military action, it was a warning for terrorists sitting across the border and more than that – for those who support them. India would no longer tolerate terrorism and would give adequate answers if its unity and integrity were damaged.
He stressed that the Sindoor operation was not over yet. That was just a pause.
Mr. Singh defined the life of a soldier as a man filled with courage and victims and added that the nation would forever remain indebted to services provided by the armed forces in the duty of his homeland. He called on the staff to focus on physical and mental well -being and emphasize the importance of strength and wellness in the life of a soldier. “If you are strong, our boundaries will be strong. When the boundaries are strong, India will be strong,” he said.
On this occasion, the chief of the staff of the army of UPENDRA DWIVEDI and other higher officials of the army were present.
On May 10. Pakistani drones were targeted at Udhampur base, but all drones were successfully captured and neutralized by the military system of air defense.
