The youth must believe in their potential, says Sharanbasappa Pappa
The youth of the Kalyana Karnataka region must shed the notion of being backward and disadvantaged and instead cultivate self-confidence and determination to succeed, said Sharanbasappa Pappa, president, Kalyana Karnataka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KKCCI).
He was addressing the gathering after launching the Rise Kalyana Karnataka – Youth Education Summit 2026, a two-day program organized by Rotary Club of Bidar Silverstar in Bidar on Saturday.
Mr. Pappa said the youth of the region have huge potential and can achieve their goals if they overcome feelings of inferiority and work with confidence and commitment. He appreciated the initiative of Adhish Wali, president of the club, in organizing the summit and creating a platform to connect the unemployed youth with job opportunities.
A major attraction of the event was the Mega Job Fair, which brought together more than 50 companies from various industries. More than 1,500 students and job seekers took part in the event.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Wali outlined the vision of organizing the summit which is being held for the first time in Bidar district. Kiran Samuel, secretary of the club, appreciated the contribution of the speakers and participating companies in motivating the youth and facilitating job opportunities.
The summit featured a virtual address by Bengaluru South MP Tejasvi Surya. The session was also moderated by entrepreneur Karan Javali, founder of Motocross India and Shark Tank India participant; entrepreneur and content creator Swathi Kulkarni and Anilkumar Bidve, Vice Chancellor of Sharnbasva University.
