
The 29 -year -old Executive Director succumbed to his injury after suffering 12 skull fractures, when she fell on his head in Bengalur on Thursday, the PTI press agency reported. The deceased – identified as Akshay Shivaram – was on a scooter without a helmet when the incident occurred near the temple of Brahm Chaitanya in Hanumanthnagar. Akshay has been in a coma since an accident held on June 15, and on Thursday at a private hospital in Jayanagar, his last exhaled on Thursday.
Akshay, an employee in a private company in Rajajinagar, suffered serious injuries while buying meat to prepare lunch for his father’s birthday and plan a special dinner for him, the Times of India reported.
He was on his two -round bike when a branch of a dry tree suddenly broke and struck him. CCTV shots shared online captured the moment when Akshay lost his balance after impact and collided with a parked vehicle.
Doctors revealed that, according to the agency, a total of 12 head injuries suffered. Jayanagar police station officials confirmed his death. “We were informed about death at about 1 pm,” PTI said.
After the incident, Akshay’s brother Benek filed an official complaint against Bruhhat Bengalur Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) and the Forest Department. He accused both agencies of negligence and claimed to ignore the repeated warnings of the locals and temple authorities about the branch of dangerous trees that were not cropped or removed.
Police Hanumanthnagar registered the complaint and started the investigation.
