Four children were killed after being hit by lightning in two places in the district, the police said on Friday (June 20, 2025).
Sho, Sarai Akil, Sunil Kumar said on Friday that the first incident occurred when four children graze goats.
Family members immediately rushed children to a private hospital, where doctors declared Satish (13) and Mani (13) dead, while two more children were first aid.
The second incident took place in the village of Tara Ka Pura as the children pulled the buffalo to grazing.
Abhishek Singh, an officer of the Kaushambi circle, said that 15 -year -old Govind died on the spot after being hit by lightning while Rupa Devi (12) succumbed to the district hospital.
Another child identified as Mohit (10) is treated in a private hospital in Sarai Akil, he said.
