Indian Captain Shubman Gill imitated the performance of Virata Kohli when he raised a brisk half century on the first day of the first test against England in Headingley in Leeds. Gill launched at number four, instead of Kohli from retirement of the legendary Sachin Tendulkar, Gill led his team from the front and recorded a half century 56 using eight borders.
As a result, he became the Ninth Indian Captain, who achieved performance in his first shifts as a captain and the youngest he had ever done at the age of 25. He became the first captain from Virat Kohli to achieve the activity that scored twins on his girl’s trip as a captain in Adelaide back in 2014.
