
The Argentine football icon Lionel Messi has finally opened up about her relationship with the long -time rival Cristian Ronald and stressed that even though they are not friends, there is a deep respect between them. Messi explained that the lack of friendship was not caused by any personal tearing, but simply because their paths rarely cross the playground.
When he talked to Dports, Messi explained that the hard competition between them always stayed on the pitch, especially during their iconic clashes in the La League, when Ronaldo played for Real Madrid and Messi led the line for Barcelona. “For Cristiano Ronaldo, I have great respect and admiration and for a career he had and continued, because he was still at the highest level,” Messi DSports said.
“The competition with him was on the pitch. Each of us wanted to do the best for our team. Of course, as always, everything remained on the pitch. We are two normal people outside the pitch.
