
Main Minister A. Revanth Reddy asked the Ministry of the Union to first sanctioned permission for Hyderabad Metro Rail Phase-II.
The Chief Minister asked the Minister of Municipal City Development Manoharlal Khattar on Thursday. Mr. Revant Reddy, who is visiting the new Delhi, called on Mr. Khattar this afternoon in his residence.
He informed the Minister of the Union of rapid development, which witnessed in Greater Hyderabad, and said that the operationalization of phase II Metro Rail II, which includes 76.4 km, was most important for its further acceleration. Therefore, the state government decided to take the second phase of the project as a joint venture with a central government with an estimate of 24,269 GBP.
He said that the introduction of the Metro Phase-II project would reduce traffic jams and ensure faster travel, which would contribute to the permanent development of the city. The state government has submitted a revised detailed report on the project concerning phase II metro, including the proposals of the Ministry for the Development of the Union’s cities and asked Mr. Khattar to extend his cooperation in ensuring rapid permits from the ministries concerned.
