The Telengan’s consumer ban on the TELANGANA has arrested two main missiles, one involving the sale of the army canteen liqueur and the other associated with the production of falsified alcohol from different parts of Hyderabad.
In the first case, the raids were made in Malkajgiri and Ghatkesar, which on Thursday confiscated a total of 58 bottles of army canteen liqueur. While 30 bottles were obtained from the residential land in Yaplal, Alwal, another 28 was confiscated from a car in Ghatkesar. One person, identified as Nikhil, was arrested. These raids follow earlier seizures of 1,188 bottles with alcohol, of which 37 bottles in Malkajgiri and 115 bottles worth 2.3 lakh in Shamshabad, which is part of a special drive against invalid liqueur.
Meanwhile, in Kacheguda, officials from the State Working Group (STF) revealed a disturbing liqueur manufacturing unit operated from the house in Osman Nagar. The accused, Goriki Srinivas, allegedly supplemented premium bottles of alcohol cheap alcohol and sold them for discounted rates. Seven bottles of falsified liqueur and 106 empty branded bottles were seized during the raid. Srinivas, who previously worked as a driver, is said to have been operating for almost three years.
Officials raised concerns about the growing sale of the defensive dining room and falsified alcohol in residential areas, which not only disrupts the legitimate liqueur revenues, but also represents health risks. Teams for enforcement promised continuing alertness, especially in areas near defensive canteens and other such high -risk zones.
