
The Kerala Institute for Gender Equity, which is to be launched on Sree Sankacharya University of Sanskrit (SSUS), Kalads, will focus on the progress of interdisciplinary research in gender studies.
The Institute occurred among the centers of excellence proposed by the Ministry of Higher Education focused on specific areas of advanced research and training. It will be equipped with state -of -the -art facilities and operated by top members of the faculty, scientists and students.
According to the Varsity Offices, the Kerala Institute for the gender equation is focused on integrating gender perspectives into the creation of policies, solving gender inequality and sharing research results with institutions and partners across the country.
The Minister of Higher Education R. Bindu will start an institute in a position that will take place in the campus of Kalaladu 20 June.
The conceptual note prepared by the Council Council in Kerala said that the Center of Excellence will be an autonomous institution of advanced research in one of the leading areas of specialization, operated by a team of highly motivated experts involved in the production, application and publication of new knowledge.
It is a physical center of infrastructure capacities and resources that allow strong collaboration research across disciplines and focus on latent questions of local relevance but internationally demanding, she said.
The KEALA CEALS, President of the Academic Shyam B. Menon, proposed the establishment of the Center for Excellence to support the creation of knowledge and development of skills suitable for the developing knowledge company.
