On the digital side, Jiohotstar saw 892 million video views, 55 million top viewers at once and 16.74 billion minutes of time, making it the largest digital match in cricket history.
The final was the highlight of what was already a record season. More than 1 billion viewers watched the IPL 2025 across television and digital and overall tracking time for the season reached 840 billion minutes, which is the highest for the league.
One of the big reasons for digital growth was the increase in connected television (CTV), which this year recorded a 49% increase. Jiohotstar digital watches increased by 29 percent, with 23.1 billion views and 384.6 billion minutes watched during the season.
