63% students pass the SSLC-2 exam

The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) on Saturday declared the results of the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC)-2 examination with a pass percentage of 62.98.
In exam-1, the state secured 94.10% results. With this, the overall SSLC exam result this year has reached 98.08%, an improvement of 18.04 percentage points compared to 2025.
Last year, the consolidated result was 84.04%. 49,351 students appeared for Exam 2 and 31,080 passed.
A total of 11,854 regular students and 38 private students registered for Exam-2 to improve their scores after passing Exam-1. Of these, 8,393 students (70.57%) improved their results and five students scored 100%. Of these, one student was from a government school and four from unaided schools.
Among the students who improved their results, 136 achieved 100% in their first language, 76 in their second language, 144 in their third language, 52 in mathematics, 126 in science and 68 in social science.
Among the 7,649 students who could not appear for exam-1 due to insufficient attendance and appeared for exam-2 as private students, 603 passed. Students who have passed will have the opportunity to continue their higher studies in the current year itself.
