Israel-Iran conflict: The first flight bearing about 110 students who were evacuated to Armenia of War Iran landed in Dilli in the early morning of June 19.
Indian students in Tehran were moved from the city, of which 110 crossed the border to Armenia through the arrangement of the Indian Embassy 17th June under the “Sindhu” Operation “in the middle of the degree of conflict between Israel and Iran.

Evacuated students traveled from northern Iran along the road to the Armenian capital of Yerevan under the supervision of Indian missions in Iran and Armenia. After they arrived in the Armenian capital, the students soon left from Yerevan for a special flight at 14:45 on June 18. They arrived in Nový Delhi in the early morning hours of 19th June as part of the initial phases of the Sindhu operation, Mea said.

Initially, Trump distanced himself from the Israeli surprising attack focused on the Iranian nuclear program, but in recent days he has indicated more American involvement and said he wanted something “much larger” than a ceasefire. The US also sent more military aircraft and warships to the region, the AP press agency reported.
The parents of some students were seen anxiously to wait outside the airport for their children. Haider Ali, father of 21 -year -old Maaz Haider, MBBS student in Iran, thanked the Indian government for rescue.
‘Grateful to the Indian government ‘
“We are really happy. Students were brought back home safely. We thank the Indian government for that. But we are sad that students who stuck in Tehran were not rescued,” he told the video to evacuate students who were still stuck in Tehran.
Parvez Alam, Father Sameer Alam, was also seen waiting for his son at the airport. “It has been two years since he studied in Urmia. Everything was fine, but recently the situation has deteriorated. We were under great stress. However, the Indian government evacuated students to Armenia, where they were held in good hotels.
Mir Khalif, a MBBS student who landed in Delhi, said it was a tense situation in Iran. “We saw missiles. There was a war. Our neighborhood was bombed. We were very afraid of the situation. I hope we will never see these days again,” he told reporters.
Khalif thanked the Indian government for evacuating them first to Armenia and then brought them back home.

India Sets the 24×7 control room
The Ministry of External Affairs also set up a 24×7 control room in the new Delhi, which would deal with problems for Indians stuck in Iran and their relatives. She also shared contact information for the control room.
