The state government has decided to accept a two -point strategy that will face Andhra Pradesh to build the Banakaccharla project, which assumes a Godavari water to the Krishna and Penny basin, because it is harmful to telangany interests.
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy claimed that his government decided to take over the political battle against the construction of a project, which focuses on the diversion of 400 TMC FT from the water Godavari to the Basin and Penny for ensuring the needs of Rayalaseem and Nellore and Prakasam. This will be followed by a legal battle, if necessary, because the Congress Government is determined to protect the interests of telangans. “We’ll go to people if there is no result at that time,” he said.
The main minister launched a tranchant attack on President BRS K. Chandrasekhar Rao and said he had laid the foundation for the Banakacchar project, which ensured full cooperation of his government in the deviation of Godavari to be Rayalaseem fertile.
“In 2016, Mr. Rao informed the Apex River Council that 3,000 TMC FTs from the Godavari water was wasting into the sea and this water can be used to ensure Rayalaseem’s needs,” he said he quotes the top council sessions.
He accused President BRS of a mortgage of the state’s interest in AP, who agreed to assign 299 TMC ft water from the river Krishna to Telangana and 511 TMC FT to AP. “BRS is now trying to revive by spreading false propaganda against a government that creates a strong case to support our interests,” he said.
He explained that the government presented the representation of Minister Jal Shakti CR Patil, the Ministry of Finance and other ministries such as the Ministry of the Environment. “The courts may arouse objections if the correct procedure is not followed. Therefore, we have submitted our statements to all legal institutions, such as the River and Ministry Administration Council,” he said.
The main minister said that the main Minister of AP N. Chandrababa Naida should not be sure that he would receive a permit for projects proposed by his government due to his close government Narendra Modim. “We have our strategy,” he said.
He recommended Mr. Naida to provide the blanket without objection to the TELANGANA certificate using 1,000 TMC FT water Godavari and another 500 TMC FT Krishna Water before continuing the project. “We will not be bothered by projects in AP if Telangana is given a certificate of blankets, allowing it to use its justified share of the water,” he refused.
Mr. Revant Reddy criticized the leader BRS for ignoring the waiting projects on the rivers Krishna and Godavari in their ten -year rule, despite the spending the 2 Lakh Crore irrigation projects.
“Excess water in Godavari came to the picture when Mr. Rao collided with suppliers in the bait of commission and ignored that the waiting projects are the key to nutrition of irrigation in telangana. If someone must be punished for the injustice of Telangana, it is Mr. Rao and his nephew and former Minister of irrigation T. Harish Rao.”
The main minister emphasized his accusation and quoted Medigadda and other barriers of the Kaleshwaam project, which suffered damage, resulting in the flow of water down to the AP. Moreover, it was to adopt the BRS government for projects such as Rayalaseem’s elevator projects, Puhireddypad and Muchumarri, which allowed the neighboring state to draw a huge amount of water from both rivers.
Will not trust Kishan
The main minister answered questions and stated that he would not trust the Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy, who skipped all the important meetings convened by the state government and claimed that he had doubts about Mr. Kish Reddy’s integrity. “Why did he secretly meet Mr. Patil when he preferred to skip the meeting?” he asked.
