
The Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Wednesday that India and Croatia agreed that whether it was Europe or Asia, problems could not come from Battlefields and claim that dialogue and diplomacy is the only way forward.
In a joint press release after interviews at the level of delegation with Croatian counterpart Andrej Plenkovic, he also said that a plan to strengthen defensive cooperation between the two countries would be created.
Modi said that he and his Croatian counterpart decided to give “triple” pace to bilateral ties.
“We agree that terrorism is the enemy of mankind. Terrorism is forces that believe in democracy believe in democracy. We agree, whether in Europe or Asia, solving problems cannot be found from the battlefield and dialogue and diplomacy is the only way,” he said.
His comments come in the middle of the escalating situation in West Asia because the military confrontation between Israel and Iran has intensified.
During the meeting, both leaders reviewed the entire spectrum of bilateral relations in India and Crottia and explored the ways to deepen cooperation in sectors such as digital technologies, space, renewable energy, defense, maritime infrastructure, tourism and hospitality, including the Ministry of external Affairs Randhir Jaiswal on X.
Prime Minister Modi thanked Croatia for his persistent support for India in the fight against cross -border terrorism. The leaders also called for further deepening of strategic links in India-Eu, he added.
Modi was admitted to the interviews.
Modi, the first Indian Prime Minister to visit the Balkan Nation, came here on the day at the last stage of his three -country tour.
In a special gesture, Prime Minister Plenković received after arrival from Canada to PM Modi Airport.
Modi will also meet President Zoran Milanovic.
