
On Wednesday, the full timetable for the World Cup ICC Women T20 was the World Cup 2026, with the tournament starting on 12 June. The matches will be played in six places in England and Wales.
In the opening clash, hosts of England who participate in Sri Lanka in Edgbaston. Ten teams will compete in the tournament, divided into two groups of six. Four of these places will be filled through global qualifiers. Group 1 contains India, Pakistan, Australia, South Africa and two qualifying teams.
The champion of champions in New Zealand main group 2, along with the runner of the last edition of South Africa, hosts England, West India and two qualifications.
India will start his campaign with a clash of awning against the Arch-Souveres of Pakistan 14th June. It will be a challenging way for women in blue color, with a Powerhouse like Australia and South Africa in their group. India has a dominant record in his head to Pakistan in the T20is and won 12 out of 15 of their meetings. The last victory of Pakistan in this format came during the female Cup T20 Asia 2022.
Group 2 may not seem impressive on paper, but it could still bring fixed matches. New Zealand will look at a smooth passage to the semifinals while England hopes to earn a home advantage.
