
Days after the forest department expressed concern about the transport of an elephant over long distances to Hyderabad for the annual procession of Muharram, all India Majlis-e-Ithadul Muslimeen by lawmaker Mirza Riyaz-Hasan Effendi said his party was trying to arrange one.
The historical procession of Muharram means to carry Alam to the elephant of Bibi Ka Alaw. The Auqaf Heh Nizam Committee and the religious trust of Nizama usually associate the state government of permission.
According to Mr. Effendi, who spoke to the media after a meeting in Muharram revision with officials and public representatives, the Heh Nizam Auqaf committee recently met with President Aimima Assaddin Owaisi, after which the government was presented to a rapid solution to the problem. Mr. Effendi seemed to be convinced that the government would ensure that the elephant was furnished.
Although the journey forward is being investigated, the Chairman of the Board of Telangana Waqf Syed Azmatullah Huseini said that £ 1 Lakh was paid as a deposit to bring the elephant to Hyderabad from Rajasthan.
Meanwhile, the Civic Authorities agreed to deal with a large number of people expected to visit Ashookhanas, including Bibi Ka Alaw, Badshahi Ashorkhan and other smaller Ashorkhanas.
Minor repairs and civic work are underway, such as laying the floor and is expected to be carried out a few days before Muharram, which is expected to start on 6 July.
